Armstrong Woods Service Project, April 2024

Our service project was rebuilding fences at the Armstrong Redwoods State Park. This is the third year in a row that we have gone there to rebuild fences. It’s such a great project. In addition to the volunteer work, we put in with 13 members of our club and family members as well. We also donated a check to cover a good part of the supplies needed. Congratulations to the members of PVR who gave their time and talent today.

ReLeaf Petaluma Tree Planting 11/19/2023

PVR sponsored a ReLeaf Petaluma project to plant 77 new trees at Miwok Elementary School and Miwok Park next door. Several members of our club, including our president, John Moller, members Matt Stone, and Renee McKenna along with Renee‘s father participated. You can see in these photos that the shade is desperately needed by the people there. Native trees were chosen, and will evidently grow about 2-3 feet a year so within a very few years, they will be making shade.
