Petaluma Valley Rotary's Service Projects
Rotary started with it' s first service project in 1907 with the construction of a Public Restroom. Similar to how many of our projects start, Paul Harris saw the people of Chicago had a need and Rotary created a project to fix that need. What needs do you believe our community have and can Rotary fix it?

Lend A Hand - Teacher mini-grants to help Petaluma students.
COTS Holiday Party - Holiday gifts for the homeless and transitional families.
COTS Backpacks - Backpacks and school supplies for the homeless and transitional families.
Sharing Tree - Holiday Gifts to to isolated residents of Petaluma's convalescent homes
Youth Exchange - Hosting students abroad for a year-long academic, social and cultural exchange.
RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Leadership development program for young people
Cool Kids Camp - Rotary Summer Camp
Passion Projects - A new Rotarians each year construct projects for their passions
From the Past Couple of Years
Jennifer Carter's Year 2024-2025
Tri-Club Project - Lend A Hand - Provided extra funding this year for our Teacher mini-grants with 7,698 students impacted.
Loma Vista Mural - We helped fund and implement a mural at Loma Vista Immersion Academy highlighting "Love foe Everyone". For this project we partnered together with Amor Para Todos and Ricky Watts, who painted the mural.
Armstrong Redwoods - 4th year rebuilding fences.
Petaluma River Park - Continuing from our project last year, we helped with the beautifying the gathering area. This includes building of a stage, situating plant boxes, locating Raptor boxes, and installing cameras for the boxes.
Ukraine Power - Donated to Ukraine Power who provides essential equipment and resources to empower children, students, the elderly, and internally displaced persons.
Rotary Walks - Encourage members of our community to get out and experience new walking trails, make new friends and focus on health and wellness.
